I’m travelling LGW-UVF on Saturday. Upgraded the in-laws to First, they’re joining us in St Lucia.

Obviously will still be a great experience for them (first time) but wondered if there were any experiences in the past few weeks that people had on the soft product?

They have limited long haul experience so when I booked was hoping it’d blow them away, likely their first and last. Still will be an experience for sure but no card menu & wine list (small but big impact for the uninitiated) fewer touchpoints with less attentive cabin crew, no glassware, No pre departure drink, no crockery, table setting etc will take the sheen off a bit.

Are all of these ‘adjustments’ still effective currently and are amenity kits and pyjamas still given? Simple things like the champers pre departure would be great.

Have searched the forums but seems to be limited trip reports in F for obvious reasons but hoping I could hear from others who have recently travelled first class long haul and not brought their own plates as a recent poster did 😆
