On occasion, I've seen incorrect charges on the folio that gets mailed to me after checkout. I usually just reply to the email that sent the folio, or if it's non-replyable or doesn't go to the hotel, I email or call the hotel. Do it the same day if you can, because then the hotel can just void the credit card transaction and re-do it.
