FWIW, in case anyone ever reads this and is looking for a solution to a broken wheel or axle on a Pathfinder:
For my own Pathfinder, I was ultimately able to repair a wheel via drilling out the existing axle and replacing with a 70mmx24mm wheel and axle from Amazon.
Was not easy nor perfect-- the Amazon replacement wheel broke several times until I purchased enough washers to stabilize the axle, and both axle and wheel are clearly inferior to the original-- some sources suggested inline skate wheels as high quality, also FWIW. (The problem with an extended essentially cantilevered axle, is that it is hard to stabilize under weight, especially with inferior components, and will eventually put torque on the rotating components ... )
