By the way, OMAAT also had a strong preference of EDITION over Caresse when staying this year, and Caresse tried to scam him on charges at check-out exactly like they did to me a few weeks earlier. It does not smell good at all.
I was hoping that LM would be a good alternative but the service issues described here seem similar to my experience at Caresse so if I try it I will limit it to a very brief stay just to try.
Speaking of management changes - after LM Bodrum and Bonvoy were completely inept and did not care about my feedback (to be fair, Bonvoy gave me a pitiful 10K points for my ruined vacation), I reached out to the general manager of LM Bodrum on Linkedin directly. He was very cordial, but turns out he resigned in July (after only 5 months) and now there is a new guy. Which is probably connected to the miserable situation of the hotel.
