They may be targeting churners in general, and we're all guilty of hitting the AA cards. I even stepped on the grAAvy train a few times myself. My shut-down came right around the time of the AA purge. All of us are a loss to them, even if some do no MS or very light MS. Citi finally got brazen and like a casino, kicked us out for winning too much. They likely couldn't care less about any negative publicity from a small group of churners. It's not like we're going to write sob stories to the press and tarnish Citi's image.
