I think the complaint to my concierge might have opened up things a bit for Saturday night at the Reno Hyatt Place, at least my concierge later talked to them and "availability improved". She booked me but I had her cancel it because I had already booked somewhere else and wasn't happy.
They shouldn't use the word "Guaranteed" when anytime they have more bookings than they expect (extreme demand) they can just deny globalists. I know it has worked for some (I've seen it when trying to book properties before).
I agree I think every property at the start of the year should set a list of pre-published Blackout Dates and that should be it. They shouldn’t be able to use the excuses of extreme demand as I believe that’s the exact type of situation where Globalists would exercise this benefit.
