Not really. Pre-COVID, the USA-India market was subjected to hyper-aggressive fare discounting (in Economy AND Premium cabins) by the ME3 and other carriers (such as SQ, TK, SU and even the Chinese legacies ). UA has a fairly well-defined niche catering to the large Indian diaspora market in NJ who will pay for the nonstop access, with EWR having far less exposure to the most aggressive competition compared to JFK. Delta smartly realized it's not worth fighting the same battles (and losing even more money) while chasing a greatly diminished number of passengers, so the flight is on ice until circumstances improve.
