Here September comes and I am looking for flights, I can only find flights that cost $3-4,000 on kayak or google flights for full fair from WAS to MNL. If I look 2 separate legs it's come up to $1,800 (WAS-Dub -$800 and Dub-MNL-1K), WHY? Other flights much longer 40-50 hours vs. 23 or cost as much.
Hi Anastasia, Welcome to FlyerTalk, and especially the Emirates board.
Can I assume that with WAS you mean IAD (Washington Dulles)?
I obviously don’t know what actual dates you are looking for, but On ITA Matrix I can find a flight for U$ 1286, leaving 23 September (I have not checked other days)

The long layovers in DXB are because of the fact that not all flight operate on a daily basis so sometimes your layover is up till the next day.

I would be happy to check a specific day of departure for you!
