Indeed. The 8th floor rooms (of which I think only about 5 of them are Gold Lakeview rooms), plus a few at the far end of the Glacier wing on the 7th floor are 'regular size' rooms. If you're booking a Gold Lakeview Room, there's no harm in making a request for a room in the 705 to 771 number range. You'll end up with double the size of a typical non-Gold room. Since they don't publish those distinctions, most people probably don't know the difference or know to ask.

To make it easier to see, I went back to my photo collection. Here are floors 5 through 8. Sorry, in all the time I've spent there, I've never stayed below the 5th floor, so can't say for sure what the lower floors look like.
