I moved all my stays since May to Hyatt, and I haven't regretted it one bit.

That aside, Hyatt's current open options in Dubai are the Park and Grand Hyatts, all Hyatt Places and the Andaz; Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights is reopening September 22nd, and Hyatt Regency Dubai reopens September 30th. I called the Andaz to see, given that Dubai has allowed restaurants and bars to reopen under certain guidelines, if they were offering wine hour and such, and the phone agent said they are not due to COVID. Online reviews I've seen indicate that breakfast is done using single-use paper menus, and despite mentions of service being a little all over the place from wonderfully hospitable to allegedly racist, I booked a two-night stay under Privé for about 108 USD per night.

Looking forward to trying it out, and will report back.

Did a hyatt privé stay with them last month... and you have to fight for everything. Upgrade was 1 cat upgrade (globalist + privé) after argument they gave me a suite with street view / low floor. Mini bar from Privé is "one coke". Breakfast is ok, but overall the property is average (except the design). It's not a beach property and you don't feel the resort on the palm spirit. I will never go Back there. Service is POOR (2 hours for an ashtray and 10 calls, 2.30 hours for amenities and many calls, etc etc. They don't even sell cigarettes in the property, they send you to the shop). Does not worth the money imho.
