Be aware that AS is only flying SEA-YVR right now. As border closures are extended AS is cancelling SEA-YYJ/YLW/YYC/YEG flights a month at a time. It is unlikely that AS will be operating SEA-YYC in the next few months or even this year. However, you can still book the flight if it is in the calendar.

I would suggest not waiting too long to book your itinerary so you can include the SEA-YYC segment. If the SEA-YYC segment is ultimately cancelled (it will be) AS should reaccommodate you. AS has agreements with AC & WS. It might be possible to fly SEA-YVR(AS)-YYC(AC) or SEA-YYC(AC) despite it being an award.
