Or is there a time lag on the website, and if I wait for a couple of days will it show up as cancelled?
Just wait.
The first thing that happens is you get notified of the cancellation.
it takes another few hours/days for everything else to work through the system.
You can already go online and rebook yourself, though the chances are that KLM has already rebooked you onto another flight to replace the one that has been cancelled (there's an earlier flight, KL1124 departing from CPH at 06:00 also showing in the system, though that may also have been cancelled if your 09:25 flight is still showing on the website although cancelled)
Calling KLM isn't going to help if you bought the ticket through Delta. If you want to cancel, you'll just have to wait until Delta see that there has been a change to the ticket, or provide Delta with a copy of the KLM flight cancellation email.
