I’m flying DEL-AMS-JFK later this week, and here is KLM’s policy:

1. All US Citizens can transit via AMS.
2. Only those Green Card holders whose spouse is also a US Citizen (no need to travel together; just show evidence) can transit via AMS.

I think this policy is same for AF (& CDG). I can’t speak for LHR (BA, VS etc.)
