While updating most of the EU-part of the wiki, found quite some new developments in the UK
- Hampton by Hilton Ashford, Kent - It had been rumored for a long time that the hotel that was planned to be built here near the Euro Rail station (Paris, Brussels etc.) would become a Hampton. This has now been confirmed and the hotel is under construction since the beginning of this year.
- Hampton by Hilton Bath City Centre - Located within the Bath World Heritage site, a contemporary building, which will stay true to the soul of the area.
- (not) DoubleTree by Hilton Birmingham Snowhill - The former Royal Angus Hotel on St. Chad's Queensway. Construction company went into administration and while work has been taken over by different firm and is continuing as of August 2020, the Hilton web page has gone. Which is not often a good sign.
- (not) DoubleTree by Hilton London Strand Palace - Renovation seems to have completed in time, but it appears not to have joined DoubleTree. Think I read the hotel is under the same management team as the Curio on Trafalgar Square.
- DoubleTree by Hilton London Elstree in Borehamwood. At this moment still trading as a Holiday Inn, re-branding in January 2021.
- Hilton Garden Inn Peterborough - For this one just an update: first spade was put into the ground in August 2020.
- DoubleTree by Hilton Warwick-Chesford Grange - Hotel in Warwick (Kenilworth), at the moment trading as Chesford Grange, is expected to re-brand in May 2021.
- Hilton London Nine Elms - There are plans for a new full brand Hilton near the Battersea Power Station, where an Apple Campus will be opening in 2021. The hotel will be built next to the U.S. Embassy and it will also include a Hampton by Hilton.
- Hilton Garden Inn London Hammersmith - A huge 480-bedroom HGI is planned for the year 2024. There will also be a second (still unknown) brand, about the same size.
