All those 76/7-Elevens (the former CA Valero Corner Stores) have 2 cash registers too.
In Colorado 7-Eleven now has Sinclair branded fuel locations and of course they have 7-Eleven system for the c-store items which now forces pin on contactless debit transactions which is very lame. It used to allow pin bypass and now they went backwards. Pressing the green button declines the transaction and the red cancels it out. For the gas they use unbranded Passport(L30xx) with MX915s and EMV contactless is enabled and doesn't ask for a pin at all with ctls. Which is EXACTLY how it should be or at least allow pin bypass. 7-Eleven is too cheap to add contactless readers to the pump which is supported with the unbranded Passport network. Yet they bought two pricey POS systems which makes no sense. The one I visited supported chip at the pump but I didn't test it. I'm sure it will work just like the Sinclair I did try emv at the pump at. On the other hand my state's unbranded Passport network starts with L31xx and does not have EMV outside or EMV contactless inside. They are much further behind on upgrades in my state..

Ah yes Circle K Shell is far better now with working ctls inside and the only issue that contactless does not work at the pump because Shell doesn't support contactless at the pump yet. I know you've seen this but others haven't so here is some pics of a Circle K Shell location I visited: https://imgur.com/a/edJuDIY I now see another reason why Circle K should have bought Speedway that and what I already knew they use a similar pos.

Here is Total Wine & More NCR receipt:

Looks a lot like most NCR grocery pos on the card info. They allow pin bypass via contactless debit like most NCR merchants do. No AID listed but "US Common Debit" is listed which means its EMV contactless.
