Doing a Circle Pacific on CX and QF. Want to get another carrier in for the OW5YR promotion. The AA OW5YR rule says on codeshare flights the MARKETING flight counts.

I thought the DCIR rule says it must be booked under the OPERATING carrier but I can't find it in the DRS printout. Does such a rule exist? If not, would my scheme work?
