My experience, Sunday, August 30th...
1. Dropped off a car at Hertz at the SFO airport
2. Walked outside and picked up the Fox Shuttle (was there waiting, maybe I'll buy a lottery ticket today)
3. New Fox location actually looks "decent"
4. Mentioned that I just dropped off a car at Hertz, so didn't use the Airtrain, and therefore the $16 assessment should not apply. The agent (younger than my youngest child) didn't blink an eye or say anything, he credited the $16 off my reservation rate (which brought it down to $124 for a week...)
5. Was told I'd find my car in spot #35 ... it was an economy car, noticed it was missing a hubcap on the front left tire, and it had 47,000 miles. I went back inside (not really into "hubcapless cars"... that was the only economy car they had, so they upgraded at me no charge to a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander with 11k miles. I assume they did that as I'm a long time member of the Fox rewards clubs (that's humor, btw).
So all in all, it was an overall good experience. Go figure. Your experience may vary.
