For the fact of a limited timeframe and good availability of 25k awards I've decided to narrow it down to somewhere in the Caribbean/Mexico/Latin America. Lets go from there.

From US's travel site it looks like Grand Cayman, Dominican Rep,Montego Bay, Grenada have been hit fairly hard by Ivan and seem that they should be avoided.
