Allegiant is adding 2X a week Seasonal flights to PSP from these cities. Seems to me as a frequent PSP flyer they could easily support a more regular E175 from AS, especially as more and more travel domestically this winter. Wonder if we will see that.
Every new non-stop to somewhere, say Eugene thru Portland to Palm Springs, cuts capacity on the flight to Portland, which in turn may make that flight unsustainable. So it's competing needs and what fare buckets need to be to make it all work.
My guess is you are unlikely ever to see Eugene to Palm Springs on Alaska.
