Last night I was upgraded (75K) on my SFO-SEA flight to seat 3C. Someone was seated in 3A. Flight attendant surprised, "You're not together? Let me see what I can do". I didn't think there was much he could do, because all 3 rows were occupied. I was composing my note to Alaska Listens in my head. There must have been a non-rev in row 2, because a gate agent came on board and politely told the guy he'd have to move back to coach so I could move to row 2.
