So far calling a hotel has worked for me. I ask if the restaurant/ kitchen is open for breakfast for guests and if so what does the breakfast consist of. Those that say it’s closed or say they are only offering a bag with juice and a piece of fruit or prepackaged pastry, I say thank you and move on.
Those that say they are serving breakfast appear quite willing and happy to elaborate on what they are serving, and I like that. The ladies I spoke with at those hotels outlined everything (bacon, eggs, sausage, hash browns etc) and the way it will be served (to go or order and it will be brought out to you).
Those hotels get my business and hopefully those will be the ones that will be around a long time because they put customer first.
