From what I've read it is possible to earn WOH nights/points with stays at MGM properties booked through Amex FHR. However, I have not had success with this and I am wondering how to make it work. On my last stay I gave the checkin agent my Mlife and WOH numbers. The room rate had already been charged to amex in the form of a deposit. The only points that posted to Hyatt were related to the resort fee charge. No night credits, no room rate points.

I have an upcoming booking at Delano and the room rate has already been charged as a deposit. I called Mlife to try and insert my Mlife and WOH numbers in the booking but she said it's an expedia booking and she cant add loyalty numbers. This can only be done at checkin. Can someone explain how to get WOH night and full points credit on these stays?
