In the pre-Covid world, 2 1/2 hours was extremely feasible and 90 minutes was feasible, very feasible if you have Nexus / Global Entry etc.
What will border processes be in a (post?)Covid world? Nobody knows.

Also, expect multiple schedule changes between now and whenever it is you have booked your travel for.
