Unless it is truly an essential service worker being brought in for an essential service to Canada, there should be no exceptions. One should not be able to convince a CBSA officer to grant an exemption by arguing ‘but sir, I am really really careful. Honest”. Have respect for your fellow Canadians. Do the damn quarantine. I have done it twice with a third to come. Not fun but it is the main reason why Canada is in such good shape.
