Correct, the fare difference that was being displayed is the current price minus what I paid with the BOGO promo. I was confused at first but I think I finally get it. I just would have never imagined that one would be able to make changes to a BOGO ticket.
Despite the way it was marketed, it really wasn't a BOGO code, it was a 50% off discount code good on every ticket booked with the code (regardless of the number of passengers). Online, I would expect it to reprice like any other customer care discount code and if there was an AS-initiated schedule change, I would just call back and see if another agent would take care it....I have almost exclusively been using the chat feature rather than call. I had two trips booked with this code that were affected by schedule changes and had no problem getting an agent to take care of it and rebook to my preferred flights without a reprice.
