Whilst the reef villas have an entrance way on land, the pool and deck is overwater so once you get past the main door, it would feel pretty close to an ocean villa.
That is my preferred choice. However, they want a lot of money for a Beach Villa upgrade, while the Reef villa was the same price was the Ocean Villa, so no upgrade/downgrade fee because they're both basically at the same category. I think I might just stay with Ocean Villa for my 6 nights. I would really love the Beach Villa as I much prefer the sand/beach backyard but I'm not willing to put even more cash down. I read somewhere of people having issues with noise of waves crashing and wind with Reef Villas so that kind of turned me off from the ideas of a split 3 night RV and 3 night OV.
