That is a laudable goal and one that I won’t disagree with. But if that’s really the case then why doesn’t the Canadian government target the quarantine requirements, rather than applying a blunt sledgehammer to all international travelers?

I suppose that it’s a political question that revolves around a (possibly justified) fear of incurring the wrath of a vengeful President Trump?
