Thats how it should be compared to. If I used points to stay at a St Regis for 500$ a night, am I to expect a Marriott Courtyard type of service.
Points are basically money. That’s why I think flights redemptions are better, The flight attendants don’t know if you use points or cash to book the flight. You get the same exact service
