Without trying to sound snobbish, we typically stay only at luxury properties for leisure stays (e.g., Aman, Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood, etc.) and had a fantastic stay at Ventana last month. It definitely had its issues and is not worth $2k a night, but anyone who doesn’t think that this is a good redemption at 30K is either on a different planet or does not appreciate the value proposition of luxury properties. The latter is a fine opinion to have, but should be noted so others can make their own conclusions.
