What a shame it has been announced the British Grand Prix will not be held next year, as the Silverstone track cannot afford the price to host the event.

Surely BA could sponsor such an event; the logistics and interest generated by the race would surely reap dividends as well as the halo effect of such a prestigious race being held in this country.

Another sporting event fiasco for Britain!
