I assume this is true, and that for some inexplicable reason, this is just how Citi prints the cards? BTW, I assume the way the Lounge agent knows I'm eligible is to swipe my card upon entry and it pops up my authorization?
Other than the lounge access, I assume I get no additional AA benefits from being an authorized user? No bags, boarding priority, etc? Thanks.
Only the original/primary card holder gets the Admirals Club printed on their card, since they are the only ones granted reciprocal access rights to some other lounges such as AS and QF. Authorized users do not get this benefit, so this makes it easier for those other lounge attendants to quickly determine eligibility.
