Cendant to buy Orbitz for $1.25B
Franchise-and-travel giant Cendant (CD) said Wednesday it will buy online travel agent Orbitz (ORBZ) in a deal estimated at $1.25 billion, making it the No. 2 online travel agency behind Expedia.
