ah ok. Yes if your GUF has already been extended several times there does come a point where BA May refuse further extensions - although with GUFs at least atm BA seems to be fairly reasonable in agreeing multiple extensions.
If you went for a FTV everything will remain in the FTV. You won’t get any refund. You would have to spend the FTV. However I think that should you subsequently cancel the new booking you may get a refund - but then you are right back where you started with a refunded GUF about to expire.
any recent experiences with FTV and GUF? Had used a GUF from September 2018 on a flight that’s just been cancelled
