I have generally found that dealing with customer satisfaction and/or safety issues at resorts in the Yucatan (Quintana Roo), just don't meet the standards that many are accustomed to in other resort areas. I now visit resorts in Mexico with the understanding that everything will not be perfect and that the resort management simply can't or won't make everything right. In fact, I always found the food to be outstanding and the resorts very well maintained. What always bothers me is when I need to deal with the front desk. Of all departments within a resort, I would hope that the front desk was a guest advocate.
Thanks for the review.
