I'd like to see more stuff for kids. I like to pick something up for my kids from time to time, and I'll buy something on impulse out of the catalog. I've bought the remote control plane, the pilot bears, fridge magnets, and who knows what else.

I bought my wife a necklace once.

For myself, I've bought headphones, and portable speakers for my iPod (£20 discount coupon made that last one a definite impulse buy).

I always look at the catalog, but quite frankly, I rarely buy. It usually takes a discount coupon to push me to buy, except when it comes to relatively cheap stuff for the kids.

That said, I'll be travelling next week, and I may get another necklace/earring match for my wife. I noticed them last trip, and thought they might look good on her. Anniversary is coming up, and I don't have any better ideas. (Well, we'll probably do a weekend in New York or something like that, but I thought some jewelry might be nice.)

I wish I could give some suggestions ... fragrances and liquor just don't do anything for me. Give me more choices of things that I might want to take home for the wife and kids ...
