I always hand over EC Card + BA AmEx...miles is miles after all and triple+extra sounds too good to refuse!

I've used STW loads of times...cigs for friends/colleagues, Vodka for friends (Gin for me! ^ ), perfumes (Agent Provocateur last trip longhaul, IIRC). If people from the office ask me to get something I always try - may as well get it onboard and get some miles instead of buying at the airport!

Recent LGW-BOD-LGW tried and failed to get a belt (HBB) and a BA 744 model (BAA - please don't ask, a colleague and I have a bizarre fleet 'competition' going on at our desks - my BA Concorde and 744 fleet is 'winning', ha!). 'Not on board' they said - apparently because it was a different 737 (500? both ways though with 4 days in between) to the normal one on the route so there was only one trolley not two. Colleague got them for me LHR-ARN two weeks later (and collected the miles on his card ).

Miles always post no problem.

First ever purchase was an SFO-LHR way back in Feb 2000 a few months in to my current job. Had just joined EC (I knew that much at least)...no OLCI...no idea about FT (did it exist then?)...no idea about anything, really Stuck in the back of Y in a rubbish seat. *Shudder*. Anyway, I treated myself to a watch for about £250 or something which I liked the look of. Ah, those weren't the days...

Oh dear. I'm sadder than I thought. Time for a lie down.

Phil
