Hi,

I like the idea of Shoping the World offering something a bit different from the run-of-the-mill duty free shops in the airports. For instance, I always look out for the 'special eddition' Simon Carter cufflinks.

Why not sell a small selection of Molton Brown goods as well? Say, make up some special 'arrival packs' (make them a bit different from the offerings in the BAg and the Club World pack).

How about selling some boxes of Lily O'Briens chocolates?

I'm sure there's a way of capitalising on impulse buys from people being able to try out products (e.g. MB and Lily O'Briens chocolates) from the in flight service then thinking "I like that, I'll buy some from Shopping the World".

After all, I don't think in flight duty free offerings can really compete on generic duty free products (range and availability), espcially given the number of shops BAA has rammed into LHR.

Just a thought!

Cheers

Alex
