My read of the OP was that the ATL-ICN flight is 12 hrs later (pushed back vs moved up) which causes a misconnect. Maybe ask for your outbound to be moved back a day, really only 12 hours, and then suck it up at ICN or the GH which I'd agree is very nice and convenient. They run a shuttle van to the airport. How about asking VA to send you the other way on their metal via LHR? Longer, yes, but maybe the times work better?
More importantly, att least preCOVID-19, the van service runs every twenty minutes to/from both wings of the hotel and separate vans serve T1 and T2 (unlike the airport bus service, where fortunately the KE buses to the airport first go to T2 and similarly from the airport leave T2 last, both of which are advantageous for KE and SkyTeam passengers---IIRC the public airport buses do the opposite).
