It is also worth remembering that you can get up to 18 months of OneWorld Sapphire (= BA Silver) status with one long haul BA flight by joining the AA scheme and signing up for the 'Platinum Challenge'. I will probably go this route if my Silver lapses next May - it all hinges on where we go on holiday in the Spring and whether I can use miles or not![/QUOTE]
