It happened to me twice, as well. I’m now avoiding chain hotels like I avoid fire.

-One of the Hilton hotels by the airport in Seattle. I checked in to the hotel at 10pm, and was leaving at 4am. The folio was correct, but my credit card was charged extra for some kind of dining. I sent an email, and they finally admitted a mistake.

- One of the Hilton hotels in Virginia Beach. My two credit cards were charged the full amounts for one stay. Essentially, they charged me twice for the same thing, though folio was correct. Eventually, they rectified a situation but not until after I had had to waste my time.
