The exit row has more space than the "Main Cabin Extra" seats at the front of coach.
The armrests are fixed in the exit row as the tray tables are in the arm rests.
You can put carry on items under the seat in front of you in the exit row.

For me, exit row is best - the only downside is the arm rest situation.
