Newbie-Advice on Seats Airbus A319 AA
Hello, i am new to this forum. i was recommended it. I have a few questions that i hope someone can help me with. Flying to Aruba in 2021 (thank goodness, and hoping covid is gone) on American Airlines. I have flown with them before and i know they are nothing fancy. We sat in 1st class one time and i forget exactly where we sat another time. It was too long ago. ok, my questions are what are the best seats ? I know exit row seats have the extra leg room. the seats toward the front, right behind the bulkhead are supposed to have extra leg room. Are they the same amount of leg room? In a description, row 9 says extra leg room and the armrest go down (aisle seat). Do the armrest in the exit row go down or are they fixed? I understand with the exit row seats you have to use the overhead to put you carry on during take off and landing, no big deal, but if row 9 has the same amount of leg room as the exit row, at least we can put our items under the seat in front of us. I was told the seat right behind the bulk head are ok (row 8). Any recommendations would be appreciated. I am thinking I have to see what is more important to us, leg room, seat in front to put things underneath, armrests that go down and aren't fixed, bulkhead..thank you
