I have something similar planned for next month (which will likely be changed to 6 weeks next year instead of 4 weeks this year unless Japan magically opens up in the next few weeks). Starting in Kagoshima, and heading up north.. but over 4 weeks rather than 3 days wish stops along the way for overnights. Thanks for posting this, now I have an itinerary. to use as a go-by.
