I'm on the 4th day of a mattress run for a training, and each room has had free high speed, each has been different.

Also note, exactly how you access it depends on what operating system you have, XP is the easiest, corporate laptops are more difficult if they are set for the corporate network with an IP address and the rest.

Night one, wireless. Get in the room, turn on the machine, it tells me it sees a wireless network would I like to connect. I click OK, and it's done.

Night two, wireless. Get in the room, turn on the laptop. I open the wireless icon in the tray, it sees a network, I click OK to use it, and it's done.

Night three, wired. I plug in and start the machine. Open the browser, and a sign up screen comes up asking for my name. It reads what room I'm in. Its free, but requires you to register every 24 hours for some reason.

Tonight, my choice, weak wireless or wired. I try the wireless, not really reliable and go wired instead. Here you get a window and have to put in a code they give you with your key to access. It's only a one time deal, I've restarted several times (installing tons of stuff, it's a new machine) and not a problem. If you don't have a wireless card, they offer for free a bridge that plugs in your ethernet port here, but it's just as easy to take out the long cable and connect directly.

In each case, the wireless networks were picked up as soon as the machine was turned on.
