The SVO salesman just called me back and I took the offer of 3 nights in a villa at the Westin Kierland for $249 plus 10,000 Starpoints. He also threw in a $100 resort credit as long as we arrive on a night other than Friday. Seems like a pretty good deal, and I said I would go to the presentation and check it out. I confess mainly out of curiousity--I earn enough Starpoints to use points for all my vacation stays (isn't that the point of a frequent guest program?) so it really doesn't make any sense to me to buy a timeshare...
