I read your ? as more of a procedural one.

Their will be an icon for the wifi in the taskbar of your computer. Upon start up, it will tell if it has detected a wifi signal, if it has, double click on the icon, select the wife service you wish to use (if more than one are available), open your web browser, it should open to a log in page for the wireless network, you will then pay if need be, or sign on and surf away.
If you are concerned about how to make it all work, don't be. I am very techno challenged and am able to make mine work
