Called Citi about my Premier card, the only offer I was given is 5000 TY pts for $1k spend. Rep seemed friendly, even checked Preferred card for offers (0% APR BT or 1 extra point per dollar on spend on that card), but I was really hoping for $95 dollar offer on the Premier. Do people generally see different offers when HUCA, or the reps are generally upfront about all the options?
Called again today, better offers than before. Premier had (1) $95 + 1000 TY pts after spending $1k/mo for 3 month and (2) 5000 TY pts after spending $1k in 3 month. Went with the first offer, since that was the one I originally wanted. Asked about Preferred as well and got a really nice offer there, 7500 TY pts after spending $1k in 3 month, so took that as well. Was a little surprised that no-AF card had a better offer than a card with AF, but I am not complaining.
