Citi Premier (5th AMF) just hit. Around $3000 spending for the last year but a bit more than $1000 was on last statement.
Called the number on the back. Got an oversea (Philippines?) rep. Asked to close the account because I don't think I'm getting the value for the AMF. The rep asked if AMF is the only reason and I said yes. Rep put me on hold for a minute, and came back to thank my loyalty with Citi and offered me $95 statement credit if I spend $95 for the next month. I don't think I've had an almost no string attached offer for two years. Gladly accepted the offer.
