I’ve started an interesting dialogue with K2 Global over a BA damaged Samsonite case.
They asked me for the photographs which I have supplied them with.
Their response is “can you get the suitcase repaired and send us the receipt?”
Surely if I was to get it repaired I would choose a Samsonite authorised repair centre, of which the only one in the UK just so happens to be….you guessed it….K2 Global themselves!?
(this is in stark contrast to a claim I had with AF/KLM last year, when I had no status with them. Submitted the details and pictures of the bag plus the original receipt for £379. It wasn’t available from the website I used but I sent them details of where it could be purchased from, cheaper than I actually paid for it in the first place – about £320. In 3 days I had the full receipt value of the case, £379, deposited in my account).
