BA decided to use this situation as a way of eliminating the old contract, BA has decided to interpret the catering rules differently to other airline and provide the most basic food for even premium customers. A lot of us do have the option of flying or not flying, and those who fly can choose BA or not BA, and IMO at least a part of the 98% reduction in traffic IAG is experiencing is people being put off from flying with them.
